This weekend I had the sublime privilege of photographing Amber and Chris’s wedding. The bride looked amazing, the groom was handsome as ever… the dj was all set up for a fun night, the tent and tables looked beautiful, sweet and loving friends and family were all gathered together. Everything was perfect… except for the teeny-weeny hurricane that decided to blow through right before the ceremony was to begin!
I have been to lots of weddings. I have photographed a couple dozen or so, been a bridesmaid in a handful and there was that time when I actually had my own wedding… and I have never seen such amazing teamwork and love that went into saving this wedding.
Amber was a dream, so sweet and calm and collected; meanwhile, Chris and his posse of groomsmen and ushers saved the day with their quick thinking and ninja-like chair wiping and mad table moving skills.
I have many beautiful images of this beautiful couple to go through, but here are a few of my personal favorites:
Hope you enjoyed this little sneak peak! We had way too much fun at your wedding!
Have a great honeymoon,

This precious little guy and his mommy stopped by this week for his first ever photo session. He was one of the kindest newborns I have had in a while. He only cried once and peed on me twice (okay, once he aimed for the backdrop and once he aimed straight for my jeans!).
Welcome to the world sweet baby “S”…
Off to dreamland…

Got to photograph this beautiful bellydancer on Sunday! She explained that she would be wearing her tribal bellydance clothes… there are many different types of bellydance… I had fun researching for this session!
These photos needed to be about the details and the texture.
Here are a few of my faves:
Just one more of those beautiful eyes!
Going out to share some sunshine!

I met three very nice photographers from my area today. I had a booth set up at a local business expo for both the dance school and my photography. I was the only photographer there with booth! It was so very refreshing to meet local photographers with good attitudes! Seems to be a lot of them around here… one of my dearest friends is also a local photographer.
I think it is vitally important to our creativity to shoot with other photographers from time to time. We all see things differently and we can all learn so much from each other! It is also good for business. I met two photographers who do very different types of photography than me. It will be nice to say to someone “no I do not do family portraits, but call this guy, he is fantastic!”.
If we feed each other, we will get so much in return! Professionals, just be nice to each other… there is plenty of work to go around… spread the love… raise the bar on the image of pro photographers…
And check out the contacts I made today!
off to dreamland,
Bing
