“we’re going on a bear hunt!
we’re going to catch a BIG ONE!
what a beautiful day!
we’re not scared!”
These two were up for anything.
Mr. M was the best big brother I’ve ever met. (…and very strong too! He managed to carry that wiggly six year old everywhere I asked him to, haha!)
Miss S was a bowl of sugar with cherries on top! I wish we’d had more time to play guys! I owe you a big plate of chocolate chip cookies!
And just one more.. probably my favorite. Just look at her face… makes me wish I had a big brother!
Off to dreamland,

Friday night is unofficially our date night. I love it. We usually just make up the plan as we go. Last Friday, The Doc took me to Jason’t Deli (one of my most favorite places to eat because they like organic vegetarians there) and then we visited a rally for Vice Presidential Candidate, Darrell Castle ( for Presidential Candidate Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party). That was very interesting. Hearing this guy talk was so much different than listening to the debates on TV. Mostly Obama and McCain just talk but they don’t say much and when they do it isn’t something good.
Anyhoo, not the point of this blog.
After that, we went to Wild Oats and he put anything in the buggy that I said “ooooh” over. Next stop was the movie theatre. “The Secret Life of Bees” was playing. We both love Dakota Fanning but we both thought that she wasn’t mature enough to grasp the emotions of her character. The rest of the cast was phenomenal and the movie left us both smiling.
Fanning’s character reminded me of the journals and stories I’ve written since I was a little girl. Last night I rounded them up and could not resist the urge to thumb through a few of the pages from the ones I kept as a young teenager. I came to an unsurprising conclusion.
I was a weird kid.
Off to savor the last few hours of my day off,
Bing

The commercial appeal is awesome! They are always interested in what we are doing at the dance studio. Sweet, awesome Lindsay Moore asked me for some photos and notes about our newest project. I was happy to jot some down for her, but little did I know she would use my notes, haha! I hope her spell checker didn’t go crazy and her eyes didn’t cross trying to read my bad handwriting. (I write like a 3rd grade boy…)
Check out the article and the suuuuper cute kids!

*sigh*
I heart pretty girls.
… especially ones who have no idea how pretty they are.
Here’s to BFFs!
I had too much fun with you two!
Special thanks to my buddy Wes who stepped in at the last second to assist me on this shoot. Check out some of his work here: http://www.myspace.com/lwdesignandphotography
Off to teach some cutie-pie ballerinas!

She could be 12.
She could be 20.
She could be 50.
She still likes to play dress up and feel the wind in her hair.
She is every woman and every dream.
Off to dreamland,
